B & E Tackle
Around Christmas this past year, B & E Tackle made a limited run of custom spoons. I liked the look of them so much I purchased all 6 of these spoons (3 mags and 3 std) as soon as I saw them on Facebook. I have had no regret making this purchase.
These spoons have been consistent producers for me all season. From early spring for Coho, June Steelhead and now July Kings.

Sea Quest Lures
Sea Quest Lures has been another great find for me. A friend of mine, Brett Mauk from FishTheFON introduced me to Sea Quest Lures late in 2021.
Two spoons in particular, UV Jewel Bug and Mistake Spoon, have been outstanding producers for me. UV Jewel Bug has been a great spoon for partly overcast conditions and Mistake Spoon has been a solid across the board producer. You can see Jewel Bug on the left and Mistake Spoon on the right below.

Tackle Webs
Tackle Webs are a great addition to any boat to help organize and manage your boat. Tackle Webs allow you to add storage options to your boat at a relative low cost. I currently have two of Tackle Webs products with plans to add more. The 12 x 10 pouch which is great for storing my leader pads and the 7 x 9 pouch which is practically made for stowing your cell phone some place safe.
Plane-R-Wing
I was fortunate enough to meet Bob Mitchell owner of Plane-R-Wing planer boards this spring. Bob hooked me up with a pair of his Plane-R-Wing planer boards to test out and write about. I have been using these boards now for about a half a season and I am really impressed.
The boards track better than any other board I’ve used. They handle rough conditions very well considering their size. Also when a fish hits, these boards drift back very quickly so there is no guess work on if you have a fish or not. Plus I also absolutely love the option to get them custom embossed with your charter or boat name on the boards. This is such a great feature.

GRC Trolling Flies
Last but not least, as a Pro-Staffer for GRC Trolling Flies, I get the opportunity to test new products from GRC Trolling Flies on a regular basis. Even if I wasn’t a Pro-Staffer, I would say that GRC Trolling Flies products are top notch. They are by far my best producing brand lures.
One new product from GRC Trolling Flies that has really been a solid producer for me this season so far has been JRC Blue Eyes.
